Prior to joining CCHBC, I worked in Belfast modelling agency as an Events intern and as well as working as a waitress part-time when I began university. I still use the skills developed in both positions, as well as apply academia from my degree to real life scenarios.

I began Coca-Cola HBC when I was aged just eighteen as an Events Team Member. Shortly after joining I was offered the opportunity to become a Tour Guide within the Visitors Experience. Two years on, I remain a Tour Guide and Events Team Member passing on my knowledge and experience to new members of the team as well as further responsibilities given in training and administration. As I finish my final year of studying Marketing, I am hoping to progress further within the company in coming years.

My communication skills have proved essential in my position as I have met a variety of personalities both within the Visitors Experience and the Events Team. I adapt myself to each scenario to provide the best experience possible, whether I am conducting a tour for international HBC managers, or school pupils. I have even been sent gifts and thank you cards after tours!

In such a busy environment, it is vital to have good organisation skills especially during large events. Although I have never had two days the same throughout my time at Coca-Cola HBC I tend to arrange my tasks orderly but must anticipate change throughout the day.

My advice to someone joining CCHBC, get stuck in! I’ve said yes to every opportunity that has come my way, and have been lucky enough to work alongside a variety of departments and the fantastic characters within it. Also, a smile goes a long way!
